UKC Ch. Aspen's Great Expectations of LoupGarou

Birthdate: August 31, 2017

My wonderful Pip is officially retired from conformation shows. The last three times he has been in the conformation ring, he has sniffed his way around the perimeter, down and back, and in the line up. Even when I use bait, he's been hard-pressed to keep his head, his ears, and his tail up, let alone give me expression. I love this little guy more than I can say, but he's not a conformation dog. That's fine with us, as we have Artoo in the ring and Steele coming up--we won't be lacking for male Teddies to show.

All that being said, Pip is not going to simply sit home and vegetate, if I can avoid it. The current plan is to wait out the heat wave and then, when conditions are more favorable, to renew efforts to do Rally and weight pull and/or agility with him. He's a smart boy and is only coming up on six years old, so he should have plenty of time to do both. I suspect that he'd be great in FastCAT, too. He's already happily chasing a lure, so I see little to no issue with trying him at a trial this fall. Look on Pip's "News" page for future reports, when he hits the rings or fields next year.
